No horror film ever made surpasses hellbound for its total and utter sickness, and dr channard is as sick as they come - he's been studying this stuff for years, you know! Julia, the wicked stepmother, allows us to witness her dreadful god, leviathan, and shows dr channard all that he's ever wanted to know - she has such sights to show him. The demonic cenobites soon enter our earthly realm and all hell prevails. A young blonde mute girl, tiffany, is obsessed with puzzles and now she and kirsty have to deal with the unfathomable puzzle box in its lament configuration. If you have not seen hellraiser then you will be in for a shock and this little adventure will scare the pants off you. Hellbound is so gross, bloody and unpleasant that there is hardly a film out there to rival it. This horror classic is truly legendary - even in hell.
Your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell

People without skin... If this doesn't set you off, nothing will. The film follows a doctor who desires to know what Hell is like. A puzzle box is opened and the doctor gets closer to Hell than he would ever have imagined.
The CGI effects are great according to other contemporary films and though Pinhead meets his match, chains are released and people are teared apart. Hellbound is, believe it or not, actually a lot better than the first.

The first movie was a British classic. This try's hard to expand the odyessy by taking us to hell. With the Cenobites returning, the film promises much but gives us little. The film is very badly acted, and the Cenobites are given too little screen time. As for the visions of hell, If you consider millions of identical corridors all made of cardboard scary, this will terrify you. The cardboad walls even wobble when leaned on. The first and final 5 minutes of the movie is quite good where you get a glimps of a back story of who the Cenobites were before they got turned into these demons. Also the make up effects are brilliant. It's the rest of the film that's poor. Christopher youngs brilliant music score returns to add a little bit more class to a other wise poor sequel. Very dissapointing !
