Breaking bad has to be one of, if not the best set of series about. The whole concept of an underachieving / underapprechiated Mr. White, chemistry teacher using his knowledge to produce the best Meth is awesome.
Brian Cranston and Bob Odenkirk are brilliant in these series and and I would recommend it to anyone. You really will not be disappointed and will find it hard to turn it off. I kept on saying to myself "one more episode" and lost 4 hours.
I have the first 2 series and will be getting this as soon as it comes out!
I won't spoil anyone's viewing of this by talking about how events unwind in season 3. Suffice it to say that the writing and characterisation is of the very highest quality, the tension and dramatic effect and very finely-tuned (you will squirm, laugh and cry) and the plot is so seamless and skillful as to be barely noticeable (in a good way). On top of all this, it asks many tough questions about life and morality.
Time will fly and you'll be hooked: this series is as addictive as the meth it depicts.
Anyone looking to purchase this latest DVD release will already know what Breaking Bad is about so I will just say that while the first two seasons were absolutely fantastic this third season is the best yet.
Everything from the writing to the directing to the acting continues to be spot on and a host of truly unexpected scenes will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you only watch one show this year make sure it is Breaking Bad.
