Review

From acclaimed director Luc Besson comes the hard-hitting, action-packed thriller, Leon.

Gary Oldman plays a corrupt government official whose maniacal greed leads to murder on the streets of New York. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues when he crosses paths with a lone hitman named Leon. Caught in the middle is an orphaned 12-year-old girl, who can't forgive or forget the man who killed her family.

With sharp execution and cunning force, Leon delivers exceptional drama and suspense right from the word go!

One of the most enjoyable films I own. To make a professional assassin look cute AND you want him to kill 'everyone' is pure genius.

Gary Oldman has got to be one of the best bad guys in modern times and I wish he had more roles like this. Not soppy cop as in Batman. HE should be a master villain.

Natalie Portmans debut is outstanding as the young victim and Jean Reno has you laughing and smiling but also has you crying.
(apparently!)

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Edge of your seat action and heartbreaking emotion

One of Luc Besson's best films. One of Gary Oldman's best roles, Jean Reno's best film. And Natalie Portman's best film (even though she was about 12ish). If you haven't seen this film, i suggest you pull a sickie, and go and rent/buy this because you are seriously missing out!
