The best Shakespeare rendition i have seen!

Never have i seen such a cast of famous faces for this popular Shakespeare adaptation, the chemistry between Beatrice (Emma Thompson) and Benedict (Kenneth Branagh, director) is so amusing as well as simply adorable. The evil characteristics of Don Pedro (Keanu Reaves) are contrasted beautifully by the comedic elements of the other characters, especially that of the Sherif played by Michael Keaton.

     Very Entertaining!

A typical Shapespeare Romace with a slightly comical side dish. Emma Watson and Richard Briers are fnatastic as they normally are and make this film a very enjoyable film for many people. Some scenes may be a bit to sexually graphic at times so would reccomend to ages 10+! A MUST BUY!

     A brilliant and funnyShakespeare

This film is a must buy. It is funny, the quick witt, love/hate relationship between Beatrice and benedick is truly comical! I studied this for my GCSE English and enjoyed it so much I brought the DVD. It follows the book. I love Benedicks character! Absolutely hilarious!

     T"ts, bums, willies and music!

Yes this is one of the best adaptations of a Shakespeare play. If you don't know what it's about it a story of love, hate, virginity and music. There is sex and female and male nudity too! Yes all in the 16th Century! The last scene is a cinema classic - one of the longest Steadycam shots ever! Can YOU see the crane? Try to get hold of "Chasing the Light" to see how they did it.
