The Matrix

This is one of the most amazing films i've ever seen. Everything about this film is brilliant, the action is great, the acting is wonderful, the special effects are some of the best ever and the story is unbelievably awe-inspiring. I'd heard a lot about this fim for years but i never bothered watching it until i saw it on TV one night and i knew straight away i had to buy it. All i can say is if you haven't got this film you should buy it now and trust me you won't be disappointed.

Really good film. I couldn't even tell you how many times I have watched this film, it's a large number. I think everyone needs to see this film film at least once. Its well cast, all the actors play their roles very well in my opinion. A 90's classic, and certainly the best of the trilogy.

Truly original, 90s sci fi strange and bizarre. when watching this film, an open mind is required and the glitches in the storyline you just have to accept and not question. A great start to the series, but pity about the other two films!!!

I have always wondered why this film was so popular as the times i saw small bits of it i wasnt that impressed but after watching the whole thing through i have changed my opinion on it. The plot is very good and easy to follow....the sfx is what really makes this film as good as it is and even has great performances by Keanu Reeves as Neo and Laurence Fishbourne as Moepheous. Great sci fi action, not as good as many have said but still very entertaining. Enjoy

I had heard good reviews about The Matrix so i decide to actully sit down and watch it and i was very impressed. With the film being released all the way back in 1999, the special effects are stunning. Keanu Reeves along with the likes of Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving play theirroles in the film exceptionally well. The action scenes in the movie are great. I have yet to watch the sequels but i intend to very shortly so expect reviews for them. Overall a highly enjoyable film to watch.

visually this movie is perfect and quite an accomplishment.
the story poses a question that is a very appealing one: what if what you think is reality is not, what if reality is an illusion, a construction to keep you in control? a matrix?
then we must revolt and take the power back.
the action is truly amazing and visually perplexing, the special effects are perfection to the max (read: wachowski style)

The Matrix is a spectacular mind-boggling action spectacular which leaves your mind with unanswered questions and craving for more. Keanu Reeves leads a cast of resistance fighters in the "real world" against the machines to save humans with their minds in the Matrix as they know it. The special affects are ahead of it's time whilst the action is unbelievable and never seen before. This will be remembered for years and will be an inspiration for other sci-fi fiction for years to come, it is essential to have in your collection of movies.

Awesome movie, The first of the trilogy. you will not regret buying this!

If you have never seen The Matrix, it is a MUST HAVE to your dvd collection - there is no getting around it.
The story is so original, the action is supreme and the script is solid.
A must have/must watch dvd - a classic

Heads up - forget the sequels, as with other films, it ruins the original. Watch this one and only this one.
