Bill Parrish (Anthony Hopkins) has it all, success, wealth and power. Days before his 65th birthday he receives a visit from a mysterious stranger, Joe Black (Brad Pitt), who soon reveals himself as Death. In exchange for extra time, Bill agrees to serve as Joe's earthly guide. But will he regret his choice when Joe unexpectedly falls in love with Bill's beautiful daughter Susan (Claire Forlani)?

This is one of the most beautiful films ever made and also has one of the best love stories and the story is very gripping.
With an amazing score this movie really moves it's audience, it's surprising slow paced effort really makes the movie look better, it's long but it's absolutely worth it- - BRILLIANT.
I loved this movie from the first time I have seen it at the cinema and today I own it on DVD and must have watched it 10 times (at lease once a year). The story is great and 3 great actors gives their heart out with their performance. Brad Pitt. Anthony Hopkins together with the lovely CLAIRE FORLANI (presently starring in the CSI: NY television series as Dr. Peyton Driscoll) performs brilliantly in this movie. Make sure to see this movie and maybe own this great movie at a great price at just under €5.
