Taxi Driver is an important film of the 70's and above else is one of the best films of all-time for sure. The whole story to this magnificent movie is simply great. Even though it basically tells about a taxi cab driver the whole time and him just driving around and picking up scums. Robert DeNiro who the main character in this movie is also the narrator and it's just simply amazing how he tells about the bad people on the streets and how this city needs to be cleaned up. Put this on your movie list now!

where do i start, this film is one of the most bold well acted, not just by robert de niro but jodie foster too who plays a thirteen year old prostitute. de niro is my favourite actor and it is his best performance along with raging bull. you should see this movie before you die i admit it is kinda slow in some parts but thats the beauty of it. martin scorsese is a genius, and does a bit of acting in this film too and to my suprise was exellect even though it was a very small scence. it just shows how well scorcese and de niro worked together and what a great partnership they had!! conclusion. BUY THIS FILM!!!

This is one of Scorsese's best movies! Robert De Niro takes the title role in a film which explores the darker side of loneliness and despair. The story is excellent with the film getting darker and darker in tone all the way through until the climax. Cybill Shephard plays a good supporting role as Betsy as does a very young Jodie Foster. Watch out also for Harvey Keitel as 'Sport' and a cameo by director Scorsese. This is a must see film before you die and a must have for your collection.
