  Enjoy The Ride....

With its Retro Style credits and cool soundtrak throughout the film, Drive is one of the slickest films of 2012. The 'Driver' is a Hollywood Stunt Driver during the day but also moonlights as a getaway driver. When the Driver tries to help his neighbor pay off a debt all kinds of trouble starts!
Drive is well directed and has a great feel. The film is vague, surreal and tender with the occasional outburst of graphic violence! Worth noting that Drive is not a big budget Hollywood film like Fast 2 Furious or Die Hard. It has similarities to Micheal Mann, Coen Brothers and David Lynch and other cooler cult films!

  chilling!!!

ryan gosling as an ice cold hired driver for criminals: for starters, this can count. the acting is very cool, or should we say undercooled? the atmosphere of the movie is rather dark and pessimistic, but there's a sparkle of joy included.
loved this movie!

Complete rubbish, one of the most boring films I have seen in a while
With the exception of Cranston, the entire cast were bad.....do yourself a favour and give it a miss.

Don't do it to yourself, its all hype, AVOID!

This film is nothing like it bills itself as and I really cannot understand all the good hype about it.. its so slow moving its unreal. I thought it was a film about driving and cars yet most of the time he just seems to cruise along with arty shots, a music soundtrack and achieving nothing more than being arty. The first section is very boring and slow but the last 30mins is just ludicrous. Ridiculously horrid violence for the sake of it and coming completely out of nowehere. I really cannot understand how this film gets good reviews - AVOID!

Best movie I have seen in at least 5 years....

I wanted to give 41/2 stars tbh..... No long talk here, just watch the movie...what a refreshing break from the staleness of movies today....and an amazing soundtrack....I know I will watch this movie over and over again... best film in ages!

One of the Decades Coolest Movies

Stunt performer and part-time getaway driver a man known only as 'The Driver' (Ryan Gosling) finds himself falling for his cute next door neighbour Irene. Soon he is forced to protect her by helping her ex-con husband pull off a robbery. Of course things fail to go according to plan and 'Driver' finds himself in deep with notorious local gangsters.

From the slick opening scene Drive maintains a well measured narrative pace that only serves to make the movies scenes of action and (graphic) violence all the more powerful. Gosling's restrained performance alongside ever reliable performers such as Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks and Ron Pearlman also further serve to make an effortlessly cool and fantastically watchable film.

I watched this film without high expectations, as I didn't really know too much about it. I was instantly hooked throughout the whole film. I thought it was a very refreshing story, and one of Ryan Gosling's best films to date. It is quite dark and even though I can understand why some viewers may find it a bit slow in places, I thought these scenes added a new dimension to the film.

Good acting, refreshing story, really enjoyable, and much, much better than I would have expected. I would highly recommend Drive.

Don't expect fast and furious.
This is a slick and well thought out thriller with an 80s feel to it.
Gosling is fantastic and his performance reminded me of a young Clint Eastwood and the character he portrays is very much like the man with no name from a fist full of dollars.
You know when you have seen a great film when you wake up the next day thinking about it and this is one of those films.
