ParaNorman (With UltraViolet)

ParaNorman is not your typical animation and kids movie. It's a halloween movie, a lot of scary fun for the all the children, jokes involving skeletons, zombies and all kinds of ghouls. It takes a little time to get into the story, but once it starts it is very entertaining and enjoyable to watch. The skill and techniques used to make this movie are brilliant, wel executed making this a great movie. Entertaining from the begnning till the very end. Well worth seeing!

While not for very young children, Paranorman is a good fun animated horror comedy. The Animation is pretty good with some neat references to classic horror films for any grown up horror fans watching with a good voice cast this is a different, fresh and original animated film that gets by on sheer charm alone.

The oddness of this animated film might confuse or scare the very young ones,but i think it's plenty amusing enough to entertain most people,the young and the young at heart.
A young lad becomes the target of bullying because he makes it clear he talks to the dead,it's not that he wants to,they just won't leave him alone.
As the bullying worstens,he tries to behave like a normal boy,but this gift he has prevents his life from being normal. And so we have our laughs at him talking to his dead gran,people mocking what he knows is happening and then all hell and horror breaking loose,with Norman having to help the dead,mostly a young girl ghost and then there's the scared locals. It's all crazy stuff,but brilliantly done in spooky style,it sets itself apart from so many animated family movies becuase it's so odd,i loved this idea. The story is plenty interesting enough and it gets even more so when the history of the place is revealed. The animation is a little strange,but it kind of adds to it's quirky charm. Maybe i should grow up and stop enjoying this kind of movie,ghost of a chance.

*Norman has a Gift! He sees Ghost! However, for Norman this has become an unwanted Gift because it freaks people out! But soon the residents of Normans town will need his help!!
*Despite being from the makers of Coroline, Paranorman is no way as dark, this is more of a Comedy / Family Film. The film is well made, has great graphics and has lots of gags that will appeal to a wide age range. For me the only downside was that, like the Zombies the story was a bit thin but then it is aimed at younger kids! Overall a fun family film well worth a watch!
