The oddness of this animated film might confuse or scare the very young ones, but i think it's plenty amusing enough to entertain most people, the young and the young at heart.
A young lad becomes the target of bullying because he makes it clear he talks to the dead,it's not that he wants to,they just won't leave him alone.
As the bullying worstens,he tries to behave like a normal boy,but this gift he has prevents his life from being normal. And so we have our laughs at him talking to his dead gran, people mocking what he knows is happening and then all hell and horror breaking loose, with Norman having to help the dead, mostly a young girl ghost and then there's the scared locals. It's all crazy stuff, but brilliantly done in spooky style,it sets itself apart from so many animated family movies becuase it's so odd,i loved this idea. The story is plenty interesting enough and it gets even more so when the history of the place is revealed. The animation is a little strange, but it kind of adds to it's quirky charm. Maybe i should grow up and stop enjoying this kind of movie, ghost of a chance.
