Do not buy or watch this film it is total rubbish and a complete insult to your intellegance. Good idea, but it is full of crass, unfunny humour that does not enteratin or amuse. A definite NO!

I love family guy but after all the hype i was expecting it to be good!!
i waited til it came out on dvd, happy i only wasted 3 pound rather than 10 pound at the cinema
It only started about 10mins before the end when ted got torn apart. which of course make me laugh

*Was a little reluctant to watch this with all the hype but at last, a comedy that is actually as good as everyone makes out! Ted is an offbeat comedy with some great gags! Ted may look innocent but he is a naughty Bear and he seems to have shocked a lot of people despite the fact it clearly states it is from the makers of Family Guy! The story is a little cheesy and predictable but overall a really funny film.

  Cute and Cuddly he ain't!

Becoming one of the biggest comedies of the year Ted takes a great concept and then marries it to the style of it's creator Seth MacFarlane...........so if you dig his humour (Family Guy, American Dad) then this will be a blast and if not then it maybe won't.

A good cast led by Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis and excellent visual effects to create Ted made this absolutely hilarious for me when I saw it in cinemas and again recently. However, I do wonder if after a few watches when some of the more outrageous jokes and one liners have worn off whether I would find it as funny after a while.

It might be better as a rental first if you aren't sure you would like the humour on offer as it is pretty adult and broad at times. But a lot of the jokes do hit the mark.

  Thought it would be better

The film was funny and good, But after the reviews I had high hopes for this film - Was disapointed. The only thing to make up for the lack of a good movie was to drool over Mark Wahlberg !

  average at best

Watched this on xmas day,it was one of my presents, and liked the look of this film.Yes there are a few really funny moments concerning some of what johns(mark wahlberg)childhood friend teddy bear says and does but with not much of a story and laughter quite rare,i will not watch this again.

With me being a big Family Guy fan I thought I would love this. I didn't. It was humerous without being hilarious. The idea was good one but something about the movie left me disappointed. Was it a good idea poorly executed? Family Guy works as a 20/25 minute tv show, I'm not sure a 100 minute Family Guy episode would work, which is essentially what this is.

Enjoyable but instantly forgetable. Give it a year and it will have faded into the background.

Decent try Seth but either stick to tv or step up your game.

  Definitely Worth A Watch

Ted is not a bad film at all despite the mixed critical response. There are some painfully funny scenes and intelligent cultural references. What stops me giving it 5 stars is it is a bit OTT in places though that is the signature of a Seth Macfarlane production. Definitely not a waste of a tenner though.

  ted tastic!!!!!!!

well what a funny film, funny as hell...i know that its a 15 rating, but i'm not sure that i could sit with my daughter at 15 and watch this film very, very rude...lots of sexual comments and strong moments of violents, i watched the film with the wife i was in stitches..but she bearly chuckled, def a bloke film...and i loved the appearance of flash gordon in it...brilliant brilliant brilliant.
