  Hilarious film

This film really is hilarious. There is a fairly good following but there are still a lot of people who don't realise that fighting is part of the game and that 'Goons' actually do play the game.

I thought there were some good laughs, entertaining fights and an overall heartwarming story that for me make this into a very entertaining movie. Yes, the dialogue and jokes are simple and the plot is quite thin but it really is funny; which is what a comedy is all about.

I Wouldn't buy this film if you paid me

This has to be the worst film I have seen this year. There is a distinct lack of story line, leaving most of the film filled with Seann William Scott punching everyone. I'm just glad I didn't buy this film.

  HE'S AS THICK AS PUCK!

Mighty Ducks, cover your eyes! Teeth and swears fly in this adult sports com where a naive numbskull, crap at ice hockey but good with his fists, is enlisted as a team enforcer to beat the crap out of the opposition........... and that's about it really.
Seann William Scott is sweet and beefy as nice but dim knuckle head Doug The Thug. while Jay Baruchel (who co wrote with Superbad/Pineapple Express scribe Evan Goldberg) is exuberantly foul mouthed as his yappy mate.
Lionising the pulverising, this is more fun than it has any right to be. The hockey technicalities may alienate, yet the demented, bone crunching scraps, war time team mentality and Whip It style anarchy is addictive.
In all it's rough, rude, raucous, funny but way too short!
See if you like.....
Slap Shot.
Blades Of Glory.
Major League.
