Suits: Series 1 (4 Discs)

This series was an amazing suprise. It has exciting, cleverly written storylines which get you hooked from the beginning. The fast paced witty humour helps add to the enjoyment factor. This is now my favourite tv series, and is a must watch!

I don't watch much TV.. but I saw this advertised and thought I'd give it a go! I love it! the casting, the comedy, the everything really! it's really well written and has left me gagging for season 2!.. really good price as well!

This is your typical lawyer TV show, with additional comedy... much like Franklin and Bash. The Employer/Employee pairing is superb and the plot, twists and characters make this a highly engrossing series. High recommendation for any avid TV fan.

one of the best TV shows this decade !!!!!!!!!!!!! Story line and characters are addictive

The pairing up of the hardcore veteran with the amateur outsider has been overused and yet Suits still manages to find ways to make it feel fresh. Moving the action to a law firm, where the characters don't care if you're guilty or not just that they win, it makes a nice change from the typical police dramas that were dominating the small screen.

The acting is spot on, with both the lead and supporting characters giving their all to make their on-screen counterparts feel real. Much of this also has to do with the writing which manages to keep the stories sharp and witty and thoroughly entertaining to watch. Fans of The Mentalist and White Collar (and all the others) will find a lot to like here as Suits is very similar in style but still brings new ideas to the table.

The DVD itself is somewhat disappointing, with no subtitles available and the audio limited only to Dolby 2.0. In this day and age you would expect better however this was released by Playback and they do have a reputation of skimping on the finer details.
