Everybody's favorite wimp, Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon), is back for three times the fun in the latest film based on the super-popular book series! When Greg's dad (Steve Zahn) threatens to send him to military school if he doesn't stay out of trouble, Greg finds all-new ways to land himself in the doghouse! For starters, Greg's in over his head when he pretends to work at the swanky country club where Rowley's family has a membership. Things don't go much better on a father-son camping trip with the Wilderness Explorers, and then there's the Heffley's new dog, Sweetie, who fetches even more trouble for Greg in this hilarious family film!

Has Greg Outgrown the Wimpy Phase?

Dog Days is the third film in the Trilogy of The DOAWK Films. This time Greg battles his way through the Summer Vacation bemused by the antics of his family and friends.
Theres a few laughs but Unfortunately some of the funny scenarios in the book have been changed (or left out) and are just a bit predictable. This is a shame as theres enough good material in the book to work with! Overall its okay but not as good as the previous 2 films, or maybe Greg and Rowley has outgrown the Wimpy Stage??!!

I did notice from the start of this movie, that Greg's voice had broken, I think by time all the books have been turned into films, the actor who plays Greg will probably be near enough a man at the speed the books are coming out.

This film was pretty average, just a typical summer break, the parents, the best friend, the brother and the girl, yes, the girl, Greg bags his girl, Holly, and Loded Diper singing Justin Biebers 'Baby' at a sweet 16th party.

Very average compared to number 1 and 2, but give it a watch if your just a big kid, like me, or the kids are just nagging you....
