The Hunger Games is a true 5 star movie, I would say this was the best of 2012, fighting some stiff competition like Marvel's Avengers Assemble, The Dark Knight Rises and Taken 2. Jennifer Lawrence was the best choice for the role of Katniss as she out-done all her previous performance before this! This movie is definitely one for the collection, equally as good as the book. I'm thoroughly looking forward to Catching Fire and Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2

See if you liked;
Battle Royale.

  thoroughly enjoyable

I was ordered by my son to watch this, so grabbing a quiet couple of hours last week, sat down and viewed it. It was pretty good. Don't know the story having not read the books, so cannot comment against them, but as a film it was enjoyable, fast paced, well acted. I particularly enjoyed the build up to the actual games themselves. I was glad they didnt just plunge the viewer into the arena, but built upon the plot of how and why the contestants are in these games. Good job, good entertainment.

  One of the best movies of 2012.. just as good as the book!

This movie is by far one of my favourites. After reading the books I was over the moon to watch the movie and see it link closely to the book very well were needed and within reason. It's full of intrigue, action, adventure and romance making it enjoyable for everyone to watch.

  Finally, a movie that follows the book!

Having read all the Hunger Games books I could not wait for this to come out in the cinema but part of me was worried that making such a complex book into a movie would not be possible (lets face it most books are miles better than the movies due to the simple fact they can go into a lot more detail)but I have to say I did not need to be worried in the slightest, I loved it that much I ended up going to see it twice! And it is without a doubt Jennifer Lawrence's best movie yet!

  Rip off of battle royale

This film is a complete rip off of battle royale. I enjoyed some of the action scenes but found parts of it boring. Would rather watch the original!
