Di Caprio effortlessly plays a Zimbabwean (lived in south africa) smuggler, who profits from the Sierra Leone civil war. The discovery of a hugely valuable diamond should simply fuel his ambition to make more money, and while it does, it also helps him build a friendship with a victim of the war who's trying to find his separated family. A revealing story that will make you aware of child soldiers in the world, as well as making you think twice about whether a girl's best friend is ethical. Great film!
