 Superb film

I was shocked to see so many bad reviews of this film!
I thought it was hilarious. It doesn't take itself seriously at any point, and I would definitely compare it to Sean of the Dead. It's not as smooth, or emotional, but I certainly laughed my way through it. The gore and bad effects make it even better. If you're looking for a scary zombie thriller, then this is not the film for you. However, if you're happy with a ridiculous plot, plenty of rampaging sheep and a healthy dose of carnage, then you'll be well pleased.

This movie quite simply can not be taken seriously. So don't and you'll be laughing and peering from underneath the covers at the same time. I think this was a great idea totally original and well put together and yes it does have a plot.

There's always been something strange and eerie about the looks sheep give you and after watching this movie you'll never look at a sheep in the same light again.

Full of commical jives like the "mint source". If you approach this movie with an open mind you won't be dissapointed. It's a great twist to a seemingly boring everday animal.

If you don't find yourself smiling at this movie, and enjoying it even the slightest you could probably get a part as one of the zombies in the other horror movies. You just can't help but laugh!

A top class movie well worth the price and out does alot of the so called "top" movies in this genre.

What is it about sheep, they seem nice dozey wooly critters, but under it there always seem to be a darker element where they know allot more then they let on!
Black Sheep is a great little no budget bit of horror comedy from New Zealand. and it makes way for a entertaining enough 90 minutes, but I was slightly disappointed with it. The film thinks it's funnier than it actually is, and the film never is scary( how could it be?) so I never felt 100% satisfied.
But with this slight gripe, how many films out there give us chance to see man eating sheep and even a human sheep hybrid "The Weresheep"
Not a cult classic or anywhere being as good as Shaun Of The Dead, but entertaining enough.
Any fan of Peter Jackson's early movies such as Bad Taste or Brain Dead , will enjoy every blood stained moment!
