A bit off the beaten track for a comedy but still funny in a silly way, worth seeing once.
Strange

I watched this film once and didnt enjoy it very much it lacked laugh-out-loud comedy moments but watching it a second n third time i started to find the little things quite funny and entertaining. The comedy is very subtle but if you dont try looking hard you will see/hear it! Deffinately a film that grows on you and along the lines of Napoleon Dynamite in that sense!
very funny

My mate kept on raving to me that i needed to see this, i kept on passing his offer of a loan of his copy, until about 2 weeks ago, when i finaly got around to seeing it. Funniest film ive seen in ages!, oh how i laughed. I can understand why some other reviews are less than complimentary, you have to have a certain sence of humour to apreciate a film like this, watching from your inner childs point of view, its not a sophisticated film!. If you can do this, you will find lots to love about this film. The basic version is £3, you cant go wrong at that price, so what are you waiting for?!.

Nacho Libre is an OK film, but in my opinion it is not a film you can pick up and watch over and over again. After watching it once or twice the jokes get boring and its just not funny. However £2.99 is a really good price and in some places it is very funny. I would buy it, watch it, then sell it.

In its attempt to be a kind of 'Napolon Dynamite' for the world of wrestling, Nacho Libre spectacularly fails to pull it off. There is just a little too much post modern, ironic face pulling and ham acting to make this self conscious attempt at cult status comedy likeable. I like Jack, but the the days of 'look at me as I make you laugh' faces that he perfected in Shallow Hal need to be put to rest.
Black may have a wide range of comic skills yet to show us but unfortunately Nacho Libre is not a good showcase for those yet to be displayed talents. If you want a great, cult comedy laugh, try little miss Sunshine and give this turkey a miss. Buy, watch, sell.
It's Fan'tastic!!!!!

Not bad - but not good - if you like napoleon dynamite and jack black you will love this - however its very slow and doesnt really go anywhere - its very predictable and did i mention slow - you will not laugh out loud but you might crack a smile - not bad but get napoleon dynamite its much better.
