With over thirty years as a rock n roll icon, Toronto's first son of fret board wizardry has simply refused to lie down. A mega star in his own right, Pat Travers has wowed guitar freaks the world over from teenage dreamer to rock luminary. Always looking for a new lick, always pushing the envelope, his desire to become a superstar has been surpassed with Travers now ranked amongst the canon of true guitar legends.

Despite a plethora of live albums there has been very little concert footage of Travers available. Shot on 11th April 1976 in Köln, Germany this is a classic document of the early stages of Travers rise to international fame. Playing as a three piece he and his band set the standard for generations of guitar hero wannabes. A dazzling yet strangely understated performance, this was a tantalising taster for what was to follow.

Hooked On Music is an impressive insight into a man who has become a bona fide rock guitar virtuoso.
