( Not yet rated ) With film of Manfred Mann's Earth Band taken from various tv shows, promo videos and live concerts from 1973 through to 1996, this DVD contains all the band's hits, including Joybringer, Blinded By The Light, Davy's On The Road Again, Mighty Quinn and Don't Kill It Carol, as well as many live favourites.
Footage dates from Swiss TV appearances in 1973 up to a live version of Mighty Quinn from 2005 and is interspersed with animated films by Bob Godfrey and Ian Emes, whose cartoons were part of the band's live shows during the 80s. The DVD also features promo videos filmed for South Africa which have not been broacast outside that territory.
The DVD captures the essence of Manfred Mann's Earth Band, both live and in the studio.
