gt box set.
"double indemnity" is a classic and is one of the finest made. first eprson narrative via flashbacks and dark gloomy photography. its style was copied but never bettered.
if you are just exploring film noir - or a fan like myself then this is a gt treat and a bargain too.
experience some films from one of the most interesting genres and time of filmmaking.
It doesn't get better than this!

This has to be one of the best "film noir" box-sets ever! In terms of an introduction - for those wondering what all the fuss is about - or, a representation of the best - for those who are already afficianados - this set of films is a classic, and extremely good value.
I make no apologies for stating that my heart lies in the past, and, this is just about as good as it gets. The "dames", the "world-weary" heroes, the lean, strong story-lines, and, the glorious black and white shadows of the night scenes - which colour can never emulate - they're all here.
Anyone wishing to see what unadulterated movie-making is all about, could do no worse than buy this set.
