This is a must watch for any hip hop fans.The freestyle battles are brilliant.Pretty much a uk version of 8 mile.I'm not even a fan of uk hip hop but thoroughly enjoyed this film.The only thing that stops it getting 5 stars in my opinion is the acting is a bit dodgy at times.

Life & Lyrics is a brilliant film, and a must buy. When i first saw this, i was blown away by the story line, and the music that is featured in the film.
If you have watch 8Mile (eminem) or Get rich or Die Trying (50 Cent), then this will top them off, a british equivalent, and also a take on Romeo & Juliet .. Better than Get Rich or Die trying, in my opinion.

An absolute attrocity to celluloid. It wasnt though choice I watched this-I was outvoted. So save yourself the time and money. There are far less painful things you can do for a couple of hours, like repeatedly beating yourself over the head with a pan - becasue its a similar sensation to watching this but at least it might be a little more fun!!!
