Tremors: They say there's nothing new under the sun. But under the ground...

Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward star as two country handymen who lead a cast of zany characters to safety in this exciting sci-fi creature comedy. Just as Val McKee (Bacon) and Earl Basset (Ward) decide to leave Perfection, Nevada, strange rumblings prevent their departure. With the help of a shapely seismology student (Finn Carter), they discover their desolate town is infested with gigantic man-eating creatures that live below the ground.

(Dir. Ron Underwood, 1989)

Tremors 2: The giant underground creatures that terrorized a desert town in Tremors are now plowing their way through Mexican oil fields, gobbling up everything and everyone around - and only one man can stop them!

In the style of its predecessor, this comedy sci-fi creature-feature reunites Fred Ward as down-on-his-luck Earl Basset and Michael Gross as gung-ho survivalist Burt Gummer, two desert desperados who take on the task of destroying the monsters. Partnered with them is Christopher Gartin, a young guy in need of kicks, cash, and a career change, and Helen Shaver, a sexy and intrepid scientist who's seen it all...until now. Together they devise an ingenious plan for tracking and killing the creatures. Tremors 2 is filled with high speed action and plenty of laughs - until the predators wise up.

(Dir. S. S. Wilson, 1995)

Tremors 3: Burt Grummer returns after travelling abroad killing carnivorous giant worms called 'Graboids' and their offspring to life in his home town and must deal with some crooked land developers, a thrill-seeking guy named Jack Sawyer looking for wealth in this potential tourist town, and a new strain of Graboids...

(Dir. Brent Maddock, 2001)

Tremors 4: Set in the Wild West era, the worms are back in this hilarious roller-coaster of a prequel!

When workers in the remote mining town of Rejection, Nevada, fall victim to an unseen predator, the mine's owner, Hiram Gummer (Michael Gross), hires a mercenary to destroy the carnivorous creatures before they swallow up his profits. What follows is an all-out assault that takes the battleground from deep in the earth to a suspense-filled showdown on the streets of Rejection!

'Tremors 4: The Legend Begins' will thrill you with incredible action sequences and earthshaking special effects!

(Dir. S.S. Wilson, 2004)

What you get here is excellent value for money all four films for a great price.
tremors is a very good monster/horror film giant worms underground in perfection valley we have our two heros (fred ward and kevin bacon)they have very good chemistry between them and have some cracking lines.
overall with the exception of the 3rd film these are very good films.
also look out for the gun totting burt gummer (micheal gross)who in my opinion steals the show.

The first two films were class, I've loved them for a long time, very enjoyable. However the 3rd & 4th installments were horrific. A review below used the word "cheap"....that about sums them up.

1 & 2 = Brilliant

3 & 4 = Awful.

Camp, silly fun... but loses it's way by 3 and 4...

Top 100 DVD Reviewer

I bought this for my girlfriend as she is a fan of the first Tremors movie and had never seen the sequels. The first one is good fun and silly and doesn't take itself seriously so I see why she likes it. The second is pretty solid as well, recreating the silly fun of the first, while 3 and 4 really fall flat. They're cheap and stupid and not that enjoyable. To be honest, I never actually watched 4 because 3 was so bad.

 Great movies
