The world saw evil that day. Two men saw something else.
In the aftermath of the World Trade Center disaster, hope is still alive. Refusing to bow down to terrorism, rescuers and family of the victims press forward. This is the true story of John McLoughlin and William J. Jimeno, the last two survivors extracted from Ground Zero and the rescuers who never gave up.

Oliver Stone makes a film for stupid people.

Split between Cage and his colleagues trapped under some rubble, and crying wives - this is a thankfully restrained account of the last two survivors pulled from what was left of the World Trade Center on 11th September. This is Stone at his most mainstream, although we should be thankful someone so level-headed was chosen to direct this movie, or we could have been looking at somthing to rival 'Pearl Harbour' in terms of awfulness.
Pointless

I was always under the assumption that this film was actually a film and not just a quick cash in on a disaster.
If this film had been released and the WTC hadn't of happened then it possibly would have been an excellent blockbuster movie.
An anorex Nicholas Cage whom you thought would be in an active role during most of this film has one of the easiest acting jobs of his life.
If for some reason you never saw the carnage of 9/11 then maybe you should take a watch to see what happened, if however you was like me horriefied and watched the actual day on TV you do not really need this movie as a reminder.
Deffinatly not Nicholas Cages finest hour.
Not what i expected!

I thought the film may have been a little more personal then what it was. It seemed like the beginning was rushed and was just based around the middle. I was expecting it to give me a personal feeling to what happened but it never. Although at £3.99 its worth a watch, everyone has different opinions.
