The essential documentary of Hollywood's adult movie making decade-the 70s. Based on Peter Biskand's astounding book of the same title, Easy Riders, Raging Bulls uses those two movies to bookend the decade when American counter-culture briefly took over the studios.
The documentary cracks along at a brisk pace punctuated by talking heads of leading players of the time; Milius, Dreyfus, Kidder, Schrader and Bogdanovich to name a few. However it is more revealing who doesn't feature in interview; Speilberg, Lucas, and Scorsese. Their inclusion would have made this film a real document of a truly revolutionary time in Hollywood history.
