Review

A brilliant pianist, a Polish Jew, witnesses the restrictions Nazis place on Jews in the Polish capital, from restricted access to the building of the Warsaw ghetto. As his family is rounded up to be shipped off to the Nazi labor camps, he escapes deportation and eludes capture by living in the ruins of Warsaw.

Roman Polanski brings real depth and feeling into this film, you see the horror of what happened to the jews from the front line, how they were persecuted and killed, you see events from the point of view of adrien brody's charachter and he puts in an oustanding performance, he supporting cast is strong also, awesome ocsar winning drama

Follow the true story of Wladyslaw Szpilman in his truly EPIC journey to survive WW2. This is the kind of film where you interact with the character so much you can't stand to see him get hurt. This is not a film of pure action and guns from the WW2 scenario its more in the survival zone than anything else. I love how the good will of people shine through in this film and how it just shows how brain washed people became.

Its in IMDB's top 250 of all time so I reccomend if you haven't seen it you get yourself a copy.
