This was never going to be in the same league as the first two, and despite a hack director and too many new characters it's still good fun and watchable. I always felt as if the first two films treated the subject matter with undeserved respect, but this third installment is perfectly happy to just get on with the action. No real stand-out scenes as such, but the effects are fine.
Another third in a trilogy that manages to mess up

I agree with alot of the previous reviews too many new characters, main characters killed off meaninglessly, it lacks depth and feals hollow the plot had potential but went no where and the new director should have some of the blame for this, a big disappointment compared to the first 2 brilliant films.
OK

the film kinda sucked hard to say the least, as a film its ok, but then it would have nothing to stand on, terrible way to leave the film, the characters bios were not true, i always thought ian as magneto was wrong, he does the intelligent thing well, but read the comics he a muscly character and they often get him naked with a shadow covering his thang, but it was like hold up shouldnt pof x and juggernaught know each other ther're half brothers for crying out loud they made up charecters and then thought oh we better name them and gave them names from the comics, terrible casting knowone looked like there counter-parts, the original casting was fine and always has been. i didnt enjoy the first untill i watches it a 2nd time and love the 2nd but this is awefull, no wonder theyve become struggling actors since.
