Sleepy Hollow

I'm not a fan of scary movies and im not a huge fan of Tim Burton but after watching this once a few months back scared myself gave up, i saw it advertising again so decided to be brave and watch it. The first 30minutes of this i was hooked loved the film it is now one of my faves.

I cant claim to be a huge Tim Burton fan although i respect the fact he has his own unique style and you can always tell his work, but i would pick this film out of the ones i have watched to be his best. I am not entirely sure if i liked this film the first time i watched it but i watched it again recently and realised what a fantastic job he had done on it. He manages to provide a real eerieness throughout the whole film and Johnny Depp is yet again on top form as the cowardly Ichabod Crane who is sent to a village to investigate a series of murders where the victims heads are detached! Great computer effects are used to bring the headless horseman to life on the screen . A dark and eerie fairytale done to the highest standard

Visually this film is fantastic but that's not my only reason for recommending this film. It has a fantastic cast which is ably headed by Mr. Depp who gives a great cookie turn as the eponymous hero (doesn't he always in Burton's films). The film does have its share of creepy moments which add to the excitement and Christopher Walken is brilliant as the character whoeventually becomes the headless horseman.

one of tim burtons best films ever.loved the whole,gothic style to the film,johnny depp brilliant as ever.christina ricci never more gorgeous,a dark fable that enchants from beginning to end.horrific,funny,detailed to perfection and danny elfmans score was a gem.an absolute treat for the eyes and ears.

Another brilliant Buton/Depp collaboration. The story is superb and Depp is perfect in it. I highly recommend it to any fan of Burton, Depp or of classic horror films.
