It Takes a Bit To Get Going But Its Not An Awful Film. Its Sometimes Jumpy (Though Not Much Gorr As i Recall). Its Good For People Dont Like Really Scary Movies But i Still Think Its a Good Movie But Its Not The Best.

I was looking forward to watching this film, i wanted to watch it at the cinema but didnt get round to it. Thank god i did not waste money, this film is rubbish, its so long and drawn out, i lost intrest in it about one third into the film. I am a great horror film fan, and this is not a horror film just a bore film. The story line is poor and preditable, i would not receomend this film and i would not watch it again either. Its not scary, its not creapy, its not jumpy. Its just there!

i love this film....dont let the bad reviews put you off!!! i brought it just because sarah-michelle gellar was in it but its amazing its a film i can watch over and over and over!!! i reccomend!!!

Having seen this film advertised i was very interested to watch it, however it was a waste of time from start to finish. The plot was rubbish & predictable & just didn't live up to my high expectations. Sarah Michelle Gellar acted well but was wasted on this film.

This film has to be the worst film ever made!

Empty plot, horribly bad 'twist' at end,and he guy focusing all overthe shop should be fired and made watch this awful film over and over and over again, but no more than that becuse he just might not recover.

Having seen this on the cinema i was pleasently suprised with how much i enjoyed it. It was very creepy and contained the talents of the very beautiful Sarah Michelle Gellar, whats not to like?!? So as i bought this off play i was rather excited to watch again, but unfortunately it bored me. I noticed a lot of plot holes, a lot of unbelievable moments and it was just all round boring. Its definitely worth a watch, but only once.

this film is about as interesting as watching paint dry.

This movie looks like a chilling horror story, only to find it is totally different. SMG plays a strange charactor who can't quite make head or tails of what is happening to her cue flashbacks ghostly images in the same style as the Ring however...
This is not a typical ghost story there is a quite good story line behind it and you do stat questioning why? who? what? through the movie. Before the end i did work out what was going on and was a little disapointed that it run that road but overall a worthy adition to your collection for scares chills etc go for Ring The Grude etc but if story is what you seek with a few chills along the way The Return is for you.

While this was critically panned and a flop - if you forget that this was advertised as a supernatural horror, you might be able to have fun with this. I did. It was interesting, you got to know SMG's character deeply and it was a film with a twist and definately worth a watch alone.
