i thought season 1 was good but this is AMAZING!!! lots of brilliant storylines had me on the edge of my seat. this was an amazingly written series with humour in even the most emotional circumstances. cant believe how this series finished though - bring on series 4!!!!!!!!! we need to know the answers!

Although I had watched the series on tv - I had forgotten all the fantastic and additive story lines there were in Season 3. You will have to have seen the previous 2 series in order to understand some of the characters and reasons behind the stories. Just love Lynette and her "Ding dong" entrance - amazingly good humour for an amercian written drama! Roll on season 4

There's nothing quite like Desperate Housewives. I was addicted from the very first episode and the plots & characters have been masterfully created and well thought-out. Marc Cherry is a genius! 'Bang' was a particularly good episode in season 3, which I think, has been the greatest season so far. 100% reccomended!

Most series from american sitcoms, usually die after a while, but I think desperate housewives has got stronger and stronger each ralley. All story lines match up, and they've thought carefully and not over done the charectors. The actors themselves have been picked to fit their own charector, and that's what makes desperate housewives. Absolutelyyy Amazing !

Season 1 was amazing. It was fresh, funny and had a season-long mystery that kept viewers enthralled. Season 2 was good but seemed to lack that special something that had made the first season so great.

Season 3 brings us back the sparkle of Desperate Housewives, with new writers making the dialogue funnier and the mystery more enthralling. The characters are well played and the episodes are some of the best around on TV. 'Bang' is a tear-jerking, heart-pounding yet also comical episode featuring a supermarket hostage situation and a War of the Roses themed feud between Carlos and Gabrielle.

I only gave four stars as Marcia Cross (Bree) was absent for the final third of the season, though she made an appearence in the finale. This meant that the mystery was quickly tied up, leaving the season in a bit of a dead end with some other storylines being used which were sub-par to the first 15 episodes.

All in all, it's a great season with murder, scandal, blackmail, sex, laughs and tears as the ladies of Wisteria Lane attempt to live their lives and wash away any bad feelings from last season that left some fans sour. A definite for fans of the show, even if Season 2 wasn't your thing, as this season brings back the original Desperate Housewives.
