This biopic follows Beatrix Potter's rise to being the most successful children's author of all time. Despite delighting generations of children with her books, she kept her own story locked carefully away. The film reveals how she developed her artistic and story-telling abilities from a young age and rebelled against the conventions of the time by refusing to marry for the sake of it. Her first book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, was a publishing phenomenon and led to a captivating romance with her publisher Norman Warne.

Im a 6ft 17st bloke and wouldnt in a million years think about this film but my wife begged me to watch this film on tv the other day, and im glad i did infact im now buying it.

this film is amazing, touching and truly beautiful. Great acting by the cast and the story is tear jerking, i love this film!! well worth £5 buy it!

much better film than i though it would be, a superb cast and great chemistry between renee and ewan and a mention for emily watson who was superb in the film.based on a true story it`s quite a simple film but it`s a very enchanting story.
