A classic Disney film which is loved in every generation.
It's hard to believe that it is 40 years old when there are young ones obsessed with it today.
A fantastic film for a fantastic price.

The best and the most fun Disney cartoon of all time.

This is one of the first films I can remember seeing when I was a little boy. The last film to receive Walt Disney's personal touch. I must have seen the Jungle Book at least ten times now and I still really enjoy watching it. It's better then the Lion King or Bambi as it is more fun and has better songs overall. Great bonuus features for kids and adults. It's been a long wait for the Jungle Book on dvd but worth it, they have done it proud.

  CLASSIC NOSTALGIC EXCELLENCE

Disney still haven't topped this amazing film (although The Lion King came soooo close) and this new 40th Anniversary edition will ensure that my son gets to enjoy it too. The colours, the scenery, the songs, the characters - all are simply amazing and the film is just as fabulous as it was for me as a kid.

  Wrong Screen Ratio

| | See all Brausch's reviews (187)

An excellent restoration whose colour towers above the first issue, fine extras and a supremely entertaining film. But its in the wrong screen ratio. There's a touch more detail at the sides but the top and bottom have been severely chopped to create a widescreen image. Original aspect ratio was either 4:3 or 1.66:1. Did Disney think no-one would notice?

Ok I may be nearly 40 hee hee but made hubby buy it for me as big disney classic nutcase. The film itself brings a fun filled feeling in your soul and the songs are ace its great to escape from everyday life and enjoy something without smut in or foul language. Baloo has to be favourite character This film is great for the kids although we dont have any so lucky I dont have to fight to get to watch it lol. This Disney classic basically brings a smile even to the hardened misearable old codger in life. The extras were fun and I loved the games on the bonus disc. Long reign the classic Disney animated films they were and are the best. A definate must on any ones christmas list

Jungle Book was one of my favourite Disney films as a child, songs are great, characters are great. And of course there is that magical Disney thing about it.

No matter how old it is, one of Disney's best.

As if you don't already know.

Classic Disney, in the top five of their cartoons. You know the songs, you know the characters. Can't think of any major criticism; it's a little on the short side and it's hardly heavy with plot, but then that's not why you'll buy it. Ideal Christmas present for anyone with a soul.
