  Dated

When this was in the cinema in the 60's it was refreshing , alas now it is so dated . No amount of enhanced digital sound/picture can make the content seem any more than a what the movie is .... A 60's disney cartoon with the same dirge for a soundtrack and the same cutesy but boring characters. Somethings should be left to memory ... Disneys Jungle Book is one of them.

One of the greatest Disney films ever!

After the 'Lion King' (which is my favourite Disney film), 'The Jungle Book' is my favourite. From the music (my favourite song being 'I wanna be like you') to the story and right down to the animation, the film is a true classic. And at long last, it made its way onto DVD.

  Simply the Best

This is my favourite Disney film and in my humble opinion the best. One of the first Disney cartoons to appeal to children and grown ups alike. Phil Harris suitabley laid back as Baloo, Louis Prima brilliant as King Louis, the whole monkey temple scene still makes me laugh today, George Sanders, very much imitated since, as Shere Khan and even cameos from the Beatles as the vultures. This film has all the elements of perfect family entertainment pleasing every generation. The music is also the best ever used in most films let alone a Disney cartoon. Just cannot fault this at all, your children's grandchildren will be watching this in years to come and it'll still be getting 5 stars.

This is surely the best Disney film of them all....with the greatest characters and the most groovy music ever!
Been waiting a long time for this to reappear....if you don't love it, you're wrong. Simple as that.
