i found this film very funny, i think will ferrell is great in it and he is funny in all the films that he is in, i think people will find this film funny to watch even if they dont like skating, john heder is also very funny in it, and both them together make this film so funny to watch, reccomend it for will ferrell fans

Gordon and Speck definitely take the gold for this film! Will Ferrell as Chazz Michael Michaels, a gruff voiced, leather- clad self confessed sex addict, is so hot he burns, whereas Jon Heder is perfect as his childishly innocent, adorably camp nemesis, Jimmy MacElroy. The pair light up the screen with superb performances and the film is choc full of comedy, mostly spawned from the strength of the characters, but also from vast amounts of cheesy sexual innuendo, hilarious hyperbole and ridiculous concepts, such as jet propelled ice skates which fly the pair into space.

Amy Poehler and Will Arnett also deliver brilliant performances as the irresistably wicked brother- sister skating duo, Stranz and Fairchild van Waldenburg. The romance between their sister Katie and Jimmy is enough to melt the cockles of even the coldest hearts, and delivers a good few comic moments as well.

Perhaps the one thing that ruins this film is some continuity errors, owing to the fact that some scenes were cut (the explaination of just why Chazz hates Jimmy so much, and why he has that tattoo he will not talk about, and the significance of that whale bone hairbrush....). However, they don't really detract terribly from the enjoyment fo the film and can be looked up on the special features.

Overall, this is a fantastic comedy which somehow manages to respectfully mock the sport of ice skating. If you want a film that can make you literally laugh out loud, then you need to watch this. If not.... Watch it simply to see the actors ice skating. Although they all had professional training and there were a few scenes that required skate doubles and special effects, it's quite remarkable how good they are!!

This is such a funny film, i like it because it has will ferrel and john heider in brilliant.

The first time i watched this i wanted to watch it over and over again! An extremely funny film which will make you laugh and laugh! Great for anyone who likes skating or even not! An entertaining film which you could watch over and over again! "My humps, my humps my lovely lady lumps" So many funny phrases you will be saying/singing over and over again even weeks after watchng it!

Easily the best film I saw last year at the cinema...........MICHAELS, MICHAELS...the only ice skater to win an award in the adult industry...LOL

Could watch it over and over! Im unsure how anybody could nt love this movie!!stop taking urself seriously guys and learn 2 loveee it!Will ferrel is a hero - this movie is an instant classic!

this film was rubbish, waited for it to get going but it never did the best bit was the credits at the end dont waste your money or your time.

Not as big laughs as Ferrel Talledega or Anchorman, but the pair make a great comedy double in my opinion and it's definitely worth a viewing.

Though the story is somewhat predictable and cliche, the humour is fairly consistent and the acting is good.
