Stardust, based on the graphic novel by Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess, takes audiences on an adventure in an imaginary world.

A young man named Tristan tries to win the heart of Victoria, the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. On his odyssey, Tristan finds the star, which has transformed into a striking girl named Yvaine. However, Tristan is not the only one seeking the star. A king's four living sons - not to mention the ghosts of their three dead brothers - all need the star as they vie for the throne. Tristan must also overcome the evil witch, Lamia, who needs the star to make her young again. As Tristan battles to survive these threats, encountering a pirate named Captain Shakespeare and a shady trader named Ferdy the Fence along the way, his quest changes. He must now win the heart of the star for himself as he discovers the meaning of true love.

 Pleasantly Surprised!

To be honest, I didn't want to see this film.
I was taken by my girlfriend who assured me "it wasn't that bad".
She wasn't wrong!
I take pride in watching manly films with blood and gore, but this film had something a little different to most other films that I've had to see in the last while - It's got a fairy tale aspect that, yes, is a little predictable. But, hey, it's got a half decent story and in my eyes doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. It's not really my usual style of film, but I'd watch it again given the chance and will probably end up buying it just for a winter night in.

 The film Shines brightly

What a truely great film.
Based on Neil Gaiman's Fairy Tale Novel.
Gaiman made sure he chose the director he chose would direct the film exactly as he had intended when he wrote the film.
It is easy to follow and with its fantastical elements, this film is ideal to watch with the kids.
Michelle Pfeiffer, plays Lamia the witch brilliantly, and doesn't take her self as the Hollywood actress that she can be, seeings how the role is possibly the most unglamorous film she may have starred in.
Shine brightly and watch this film ASAP!

No film shines brighter than this!!

Without a doubt the best film of the year. Fun for all the family with lots of humour and a few too many innuendo's!! (but thats not a bad thing!!)
Charlie Cox protrays the part of Tristin amazingly well and, we have to admit, is easy on the eyes!!

A great plot, fun film you could watch over and over again!!

 One fine fantasy movie!

This is great stuff! Totally engrossing, good acting and great pace. This is a movie you can`t miss! If you like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Narnia etc., it`s right up your alley :-)

Well I must first admitt that I love fantasy movies as a general rule, yeah sure there are bad ones out there, but I have a compulsion to go see them all.

This time I not only thoroughly enjoyed myself, but the story it self reminded my of something I lost several years ago and never got back in one piece.

This movie is for all you hopless romatics like me, with a special fondness for fantasy movies. I liked this so much infact that I'll most likely will go watch it again and then I MUST by the DVD for this one is definitly worth watching several times.

It has action, magic, comedy, heroes, villains and above all romance...
From my point of view it only lacked one thing, a nice dragon (love them), but you can't have it all..

I can promise you one thing though, if your after a romantice fantasy story, this is one of the really good ones.
