Chris Gardner is a bright and talented, but marginally employed salesman. Struggling to make ends meet, Gardner finds himself and his five-year-old son evicted from their San Francisco apartment with nowhere to go. I was expecting this to be a Sunday afternoon feel good movie, having not heard much about it, boy was I wrong!! This wrenched at the heart strings in every scene and had me (and my other half) sobbing by the end. Will Smith totally stepped out of his typecast with this film and the chemistry with his son was brilliant. I was totally surprised to be so impressed by this film and would recommend it to all.

Saw this at the cinema with two of my friends one day and it's fantastic never gets boring seen it loads of times now and it never gets old will smith is once again brillant and i would recommend this to anyone

I have watched a lot of Will Smith films but this is truly one of his best, the performance he plays and the way he portrays Chris Gardener is absolutely great. i would recommend to anyone and a steal at that price, no Will Smith fan or DVD collection should be with out this film.
