Have you ever wondered about the phrase so bad it's good?

This film pretty much epitomises that. It's badly acted, it's badly directed, the storyline is incoherent. However, everyone's just so enthusiastic and so passionate about it that you really can't help but enjoy it, just a little. Don't take it seriously and you might find yourself having fun.
Utterly fantastic

Being a fan of supernatural, buffy, angel, infact nearly all movies involving magic and things spooky I approached this film with caution; i'd already seen films like The Croft and so i wondered what could be brought new to the genre. the great thing about Play dot com is some of the movies go for rock bottom prices, so its hard not to check out films you might have missed...how thankful i am. I felt the story was fantastic and the special effects whilst perhaps nothing extra special are well done and not overused like some movies. The director Renny Harlin - the same man who brought us the Long Kiss Goodnight (which incidently is another film well worth checking out) sends out a message to other younger directors and moves the story along at a cracking pace and not one shot is wasted. The story - involving deception, revenge, magic and teenage angst is far too good to spoil in a review...but if you have a spare £5 and a flavour for movies like i mentioned above my advice is buy it.
