Fearless: Inspired by the life of Huo Yuan Jia, a real Chinese martial arts master at the turn of the century, Jet Li takes the title role in his final martial arts epic with action sequences choreographed once again by the legendary Yuen Woo-Ping.
Unleashed: Written and produced by Luc Besson, and directed by Louis Leterrier, Unleashed features a fantastic performance from martial arts superstar, Jet Li.
On and beneath the mean streets of Glasgow, fiery gangster Bart (Hoskins) is merciless with debtors, would-be rivals and anyone else he takes a passing dislike to. Bart maintains his stranglehold through his unwitting enforcer, Danny (Jet Li), who he has 'raised' since boyhood. Danny has been kept as a near-prisoner: trained to attack and if necessary, kill. Danny knows little of life, except the brutal existence that Bart has so cruelly fashioned for him. However, when Danny has a chance encounter with the sightless piano tuner, Sam (Morgan Freeman), he senses true kindness and compassion for the first time and experiences the transforming power of music.
When a sudden gangland coup separates Danny from Bart and the gang, Danny escapes the underworld. Taking refuge with Sam and his stepdaughter, Victoria (Kerry Condon), Danny finds a family of sorts and a future... However, the mob will not give up their prize asset so easily, and Danny must soon call upon his skills once more to protect his family and bury his past.

Two Very Good Films!

Fearless is a gem of a film for any martial arts fan, a modern Once Upon a Time in China, only infinitely better. Unbelievable Fight scenes with some use of CGI and wires but looks great. In Unleashed Jet Li is treated like a guard dog from a young age by a gangster for protection. The story is very good and grips from start to finish. One thing both these films share is the violence, very full on and pretty bloody. I highly recommend both these films.
Great double DVD set

I originally was looking for Fearless, and at £4.99 I was going to buy it but then saw for an extra pound I could get Unleashed, so I spent the extra pound and was not dissapointed.
Fearless:
Didn't dissapoint me whatsoever, worth the hype and more and really was worth the money alone. Some great acting from Li as well as some knock your socks off fighting action.
Unleashed:
Holy cow, I went into this with next to no expectations, but was actually blown away by the performances and the action and story as a whole.
So surprising that a film of this quality can slip under the radar, absolutly fantastic, the performance of Li as Danny is not to be missed and I'm really glad that i opted to buy this double DVD set.
If your looking to buy Fearless then I would urge you to buy this to get Unleashed as well, it truly is worth the extra money.
