15 Storeys High is the cult tv comedy series written by and starring stand-up comedian Sean Lock.
This comedy series follows the lives of two very different blokes who find themselves sharing a flat in a towerblock on a South London council estate. The flat's owner Vince (Sean Lock) takes in a new lodger - Errol (Benedict Wong) and it is not long before he realises he has made a dreadful mistake.

15 Storeys High also introduces us to some of the other towerblock occupants - wife-swappers, bible bashers, lap dancers, men who shout at the television and even a bloke who keeps a horse in his spare room.

This release features the complete first and second series.
  • Audio Commentaries on 4 episodes, featuring Sean Lock, Mark Lamarr, Martin Trenaman, Phil Bowker and Mark Nunneley

Originally broadcast in 2002 and 2004, this must have been pretty well hidden in the schedules as most of his modern audience seem unaware of it.

Somehow, Sean has managed to build an excellent sit-com around his dour stage presence that is just as good as any popular / acclaimed TV comedy from the past ten years.

While not exactly an ensemble piece, there are plenty of memorable characters and cameos, but it is the wonderful chemistry between Sean Lock and Benedict Wong that make this a joy and extremely watchable comedy.

If you like your comedy expertly written with a touch of surrealism, then this is for you.

Sean lock is a funny guy, and whenever he appears on the myriad of panel shows that grace our screens these days, laughs are guaranteed. His dry, cutting sense of humour had been surgically implanted into 15 stories high. You'll laugh, but you won't know why. Its that kind of show.

Top quality laughs from Sean & Co. One of the better BBC comedies in recent years..... Badly treated by the beeb itself with some poor poor scheduling. Thankfully both series are now available on DVD. Comes with a free tin of Blue Rat....

 A Lost Gem

For those of you who just assume Sean Lock is just a witty, funny comedian who appears on the odd panel show or two, your wrong -he's so much more than that. 15 Storeys High is an incredibly, funny tv show that shows what a talented actor and writer Lock is - creating characters who you love to hate and hilarious situations only Vince could get into, 15 Storeys High is a lost gem in BBC Three's archive. If you love shows like The Smoking Room and Early Doors you must buy this. I'm just thankful that it was released on DVD.
An excellent TV Show, that should have ALOT more recognition.
