A large portion of life...
The third installment of Irish author Roddy Doyle's 'Barrytown Trilogy' depicts the hilarious yet poignant adventures of Bimbo. As an avid fan of the Roddy Doyle books, and having seen all three films in the trilogy, i have been waiting for these to come out on DVD.
As a Dubliner I am obviously biased because i can relate closely with the films and the charcters in them. The acting is always first class and you can't help but feel a great warmth towards poor old Bimbo. The stories deal with some of lifes tragedies with the characteristic Dublin dry wit.
Irish or not though you'll love this film as a great bit of story telling, get this one, the Snapper and the Commitments.
Then make yourself a nice big pot of tea and open the biscuits..............your Sunday is sorted!
