A beautifully moving and emotive movie. Micheal Gondry has done it again. His style of novice effects befits this movie perfectly, where the main character has the nuiance of childhood where feelings are just an array of confused thoughts and emotions.

The story is about a boy and the girl next door and the confusion and guilt behind rejection. When the boy shows no interest in the girl, she feels knocked back but then the boy discovers his hidden feelings for her... but it may be too late...

Rejection takes its toll and the two begin battling fears about wether or not the other truly shares the same feelings. Paranoia and doubt can destroy relationships.

It's incredibly fulfilling because the story is so vividly real. Everyone experiences these feelings throughout their life. A knock back in one relationship can cause you to doubt the next, and when you refuse to believe someones love to such extents, it eventually destroys it. Trust can destroy relationships... ect.

This is one of those films that you watch them look at yourself and wonder where you went wrong down the line lol. Its ammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmazzzzzzing and should eb bought.

Love it.

An absolute masterpiece, michel Gondry's 'the science of sleep' is the type of movie which helps you re-ignite your imagination. i spent the entire movie with an ear to ear grin on my face as i was absolutely transfixed with the story and the amazing dream sequences.
Top buy for any fans of Gondry or the films of spike jonze and charlie kauffman!

I watched this film with a friend who had hired it. I was a little dubious as I'd heard nothing about it and seen no reviews. The film was incredibly inventive and charming and the leads are both excellant (Gael Garcia Bernal people might recognise from The Motorcycle Diaries in which he was also excellant).

Despite being exhausted to the point of falling asleep this film kept hooking me back in and it's constant creativity and ingenuity kept my attention despite sleep deprivation! I've ordered my own copy and can't wait for it to arrive.

Michel Gondry is a genius. Fact.

If you have ever watched a strange music video you are probably watching the work of Michel Gondry. Strange and child-like his work is engaging and humourous.

Watching 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind' was a satisying experience and whilst 'Science of Sleep' never reaches the polished heights of Gondry's earlier film this is still a charming film.

A film about two people who fall in love but are scared of being hurt by it. The film follows Stephane who gets confused between his dreams and reality. Will his dreams get him what he wants in the end?

A beautiful and touching film but if you don't like a strange storyline of weird visuals then don't purchase.
