This is spectacular and dazzling! Based loosely on Hamlet, The Banquet is a epic tale of revenge, violence and betrayal.
Ziyi Zhang is wonderful as usual. The choreography is breathtaking!
Amazing how director Feng Xiaogang can go from one of the best war movies ever made 'Assembly' to a great martial arts / love story in The Banquet!!
