It is more than wonderful this DVD has been released of JOYCE GRENFELL,Unlike her role in the 'St.Trinians ' Films JOYCE was beautiful,elegant and well spoken.JOYCE had a wonderful gift of observing everyday people which resulted in a very funny and often touching monologue.We knew someone from the monologues,there was a cockney who was the girlfriend of someone called Shirley.she would always tell Shirley about her boyfriend Norm ''That drives the lorry with the big ears'',Mrs.Moss who wins a rabbit in a raffle,the trouble is she doesn't want her raffle win,as she explains to her neighbour Mrs.Inkstone ''you have to do a rabbit and you'd be surprised what goes on under all that fur''!,The toothless lady who is far from lonely because she has a''lovely home help'' and '' a lady comes round on wheels with my dinner''!
