  Fairly Entertaining Mini-Series

With well respected series such as Doctor Who and Sherlock on his CV writer Steven Moffat has made a name for himself by taking well know characters and putting them in a modern day setting and Jekyll is yet another example of that.

At the time of writing I haven't watched enough of either of the aforementioned Moffat shows to make any comparisons but judged on its own merits this is certainly a fairly entertaining piece of drama. James Nesbitt is as watchable as ever in the title role helping the show to maintain a good balance between drama and dark comedy and as a result most people will be able to overlook the fact that everything doesn't quite fit together neatly, as well as other minor issues such as the selection of terrible American accents on show.

I loved this series, a brilliant idea for a modern day Jekyll and Hyde. James Nesbit was amazing playing this part, it suited him so well. I hope theres going to be more.

I loved this when I saw it on the telly infact I thought James Nesbit played such a fab part, I wrote to the BBC and that is certainly something I would not do lightly because I don't like having to pay a license for the amount of rubbish and just in general having to pay them! But in this case I applaud as them as this in my eyes anyway was brill! James well done and I can't wait till the next series :)

I wasn't expecting much from a made for TV series but I was taken by surprise on all levels - excellent script, great acting from all involved and I failed to find any negatives at all and I mean at all - real quality at a give-away price - great stuff!

I have seen this once on tv, and i thought it was the most horrifying series that i have ever seen James Nesbitt play. I have to agree with myself in some parts of the movie, does have sense of humour and it takes you to the edge of your seat. Amazing, fantastic and overall superb..a must buy to all you horror fans.

This is one of the best british series that has been on for a very long time. This reimagining of the classic Jekyll and Hyde story is a gripping story and one of the best changes is how physically , Jackman changes very little. James Nesbitt is fantastic as both Jackman and Hyde and Michelle Ryan finally looks like a proper actress, plus Gina Bellman is also amazing in this. Once you have seen this everything else on tv will seem inferior.

Best Series on TV for ages!!

Nothing kept me gripped as much as this did. For months we had this on the sky plus and watched over again. James Nesbitt was amazing - by saying seires 1 - does that mean there is a seires two to look forward too???
