Really, this show is just superlative in so many ways. But my point of writing this review is somewhat a response to the reviewer prior to me who stated that the Mr. F/Rita storyline seemed a bit disjointed.

The reason for this is that the show got its episode allocation cut a few episodes into the season, before being ultimately cancelled, leaving the writers with little time or space to resolve the plotlines and tie up loose ends.

In spite of this, the season is still funny as hell, and I would recommend this show to anyone looking for comedy.

Considering that I could have cried when I heard that Arrested Development was to be cancelled, it really pains me to say that it might have been a wise move to have finished after this series. Although, I was not impressed to see the studio cut the number of episodes yet again.

Don't get me wrong, this series is fantastic, and still a cut above almost everything else on television at the time, but it became more reliant on the plot and gave its (asburdly inspired and exceptional) characters less room to play.

For example, the Rita / Mr. F storyline doesn't quite fit or work as well as say Maggie Liza's does in season one. Although, the inclusion of Bob Loblaw the lawyer is amazing if for name alone.

Fantastic Tv series, probably the best writing ever in a comedy series.

To revsorg (And everyone else buying this season) it is only supposed to be 2 discs not 3. There is no version with 3 discs as it's only 13 episodes.

The last series of the brilliant show Arrested Development, if you like the last two series then its worth buying. A few of the episodes aren't quite up to the standards of the rest but they are still enjoyable. The ending was good but I still wish there were more.

The last season of the badly treated and much missed Arrested Development gets a Region 2 release at last. Whilst not as good as the previous seasons, this has some quality moments and overall is still well worth watching.
