Don't know what i will think of it 10 years from now but at the moment it's my fave TV show, each episode starts and you feel it may not deliver the trademark watching thru your hand painfully funny moments, but each episode does. I don't know how they do it. It Is Genius. ALL the guest stars are brilliant.
Stephan Mercant is brilliant in series 2 as is Barry from Eastenders.

loved the office but this was even better.the perks and perils of fame explored in a sly,knowing way that most people can relate to in one way or another.great scripts coupled with fantastic guest stars make this set a must.series 1 was great,series 2 even better.lets hope the xmas special is out soon as for me that was without a doubt,the BEST thing on tv over xmas.funny,witty,sad,moving and clever.genius,sheer genius.

This is a brilliant box set and at a bargain price. Theres something for everyone with its extensive range of comedic tastes and well worth a watch!

Extras is he avin a laugh the funniest series i have ever seen.Recommened to anyone who is a fan of Ricky Gervais or anyone one who isn'tGreat value at £9:99 looked around and couldn't find it cheaper all in all great dvd definatly worth adding to your collection.

Only started watching extras from this years xmas special, its so good, stephen merchent is my favourite. Im definatly going to buy this! Does any1 know how many episodes are on this?? Hopfully the xmas special will be on dvd soon.

What Ricky Gervais does so well in extras is remind us of what real comedy is. With a great list of guests queuing up to mock themselves, this takes comedy to a new level. He manages to stick well routed to the story line as well as subtlety mocking recent "comedy" that revolves around one liners to keep the masses laughing. I personally prefer this to the office. A must buy.

It was always going to be difficult to top there sensational debut show The office but I believe Gervais/Merchant have achieved this monumental task with Extras.It is simply side splitingly funnyand has some great guest star appearences from a very exclusive A list( David Bowie,Daniel Radcliff,Sam Jackson Kate Winslet to name a brief few)
The shows dynamic still relies on the embarasing , toe curling senarios that made the office unique and appealing, but is a little more "sit comy".Stephen Merchant steals the show as Andy Milmans hopeless agent, and his onscreen relationship with Shaun "Barry from Eastenders"Williams is a highlight.
As long as youre not the type who finds humiliating ,cringy comedy too sickening to be funny(like my unwilling to be initiated father)this show will make you laugh till your sick.
