This dvd box set is great.
I wasnt old enough to watch it first time around but thaught id give it a go when I saw it on Play.
Allthough it was made in the 90's all the issues covered in it are still relevant to teens today, covering relationships, gun crime and bullying among other things.
The story lines and acting are great and even had me close to tears at times!Im a softy!
well worth £14.99 for hours of viewing pleasure!

This was the first real teen drama, and was unbelieveably was cancelled after the first series. Watching it again, I truely believe it would stand afoot of all showing on tv now. It certainly paved the way for what is on tv now. For those of you that love The OC, Gossip Girl etc, buy this. If it doesn't completely ring true, and touch you, then you're a more rounded person than I was :)

I've lost track of how many times they've tried to remake this under different names without even coming close, although check out the scarely similar Joan of Arcadia after watching this.
This is a classic example of an American TV programme that got cancelled because it was too good for their perceived audience.
Once you've finished watching this the third or fourth time, go watch Greg the Bunny for a bit of light relief, then come watch this again.
