am not really into bond films but after seeing Skyfall at the cinema which was brilliant I thought I would give the other Bond movies a chance.
Quatum of Solace was a huge disappoinment with a poor storyline this must be one of the worst Bond movies ever and struggled to watch until the end

I found Quantum of solice to be a more enjoyable (although not necessarily better) film than Casino Royale. The action is obviously influenced by th Bourne films and is definately the best of the series. The story is a little over familiar with some plot elements borrowed directly from previous films in the series, but it's a very enjoyable film.

Casino royale did to james bond what batman begins did to batman. It gave the series an edge. It took out the often silly gadgetry and relied on pure acting and storyline quality. This bond seems a bit flat though. Craig is again excellent as bond. He is tough, gritty and tries to be as emotionally detached as possible. The action is excellent too with a good opening car chase, and excellent end and a particular good case with bond and mitchell. Olga kurylenko is excellent too as an ex bolivian agent who is as emotionally damaged as bond and seek vengeance over a lost loved one like bond. M has a more prominent role too. Watch out for mathis too

The first time I saw this film I wasn't that impressed- probably because I was comparing it to Casino Royale, which was quality and put the Bond franchise back on track. I watched QofS again recently and thought it is actually quality. Good story and very well shot - D Craig is a great actor portraying the ruthless and emotionally distraught Bond. Really enjoy his relationship with M in this film. Well worth seeing again and not comparing it to past films. Great buy!

People are a bit harsh with this bond, mainly because it doesn't stop for a breath, it's full on. But I think it's meant to be that way, because he's angry and cold after Casino Royale, in this you see the violent, single-minded job focused side of bond. Casino Royale is better. But this movie grows on you, if you watch it again, you notice it's really quite a visually beautiful movie, the story is good and it has great non-stop action, craig's acting is amazing, plus great one liners.

yes.yes.yes.this is james bond at its best.this film truly rocks with some brilliant action and some well choreographed fight scenes.daniel craig is the best bond ever in my view and what makes this even more better is that craig done nearly all his own stunts.and even the stunt coordinator gary powell was so impressed with craigs work.but it did have its minuses.6 pins in a shoulder after a stunt went wrong jumping on to a bus and top of his finger sliced of in a fight stunt which also went wrong.i like a actors who give it there all and craig is one of them.overall non stop action and great screenplay forget connery and moore craig is the man

  Good movie

Honestly I can't believe some of the reviews I'm reading here, this is a quality bond movie. Yes it has gone in a different direction, and it is a bit like bourne, but that's a good thing! Plus all of the gadgets did get a bit ridiculous (like the invisible car in Die Another Day, what the hell is that all about?) Also, if you read the original Bond novels, this is what he is like.

The action is epic, and unlike what a lot of people seem to be saying, it does have a good storyline. It's more intense and enjoyable than bond has been before. Casino Royale is still better, but this isn't far behind. You have to be willing to accept change and not just hate it because it's a bit different from the older bond movies. It's worth buying!
