I rented this movie and it was better then I expected but as people have said before there should of been more magical creatures and should of been better then ones like talking flowers.
I recommend to anyone who likes fantasy films.

I was really looking forward to seeing this film after hearing all the hype and that comparisons were being drawn to the likes of the Harry Potter films. What a let down!! The story lacked any real depth and I felt that I was sat waiting for something exciting to happen all the way through the film and then the credits rolled.
I was also extremely disappointed with the lack of magical creatures in the film. There were about five in total - big deal. I have not read the books (which are very short) but I believe that there are many, many more in them. I could not understand why the film was not made longer and included more of them.
If you are expecting something along the lines of the wonderful Harry Potter films, then you will be sorely disappointed. It's such a shame as this could have been made really well.
