A Test Match series in India is always a huge challenge, and the 2006 series was no exception.
The 1st Test was drawn, and a week later India secured a convincing victory in the 2nd Test by 9 wickets. So, with Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff as captain, England needed a win in the 3rd and final Test to square the series.
This programme is the story of that 3rd Test Match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, played over the 18th-22nd March 2006.
England got off to a good start and scored 400 in their innings. India were then bowled out for 279, and England reached a modest total of 191 before taking one Indian wicket at the close of play on the 4th day. With India playing for the draw, England required 9 wickets on the final day to secure the series. Could captain Freddie Flintoff help inspire England to victory...
