Meet Buraki, the vicious, 200-meter long Imoogi serpent from ancient Korea. His army includes giant lizards with missile launchers, flying dragons, soldiers bred for evil and mega-intelligent dinosaurs. Together, they will destroy Los Angeles and possibly the world unless reincarnated warriors Ethan and Sarah can outrun them and resurrect the Good Imoogi, Buraki's ancient nemesis. Dragon Wars reveals every last detail of Earth's greatest battle... a war you'll only believe when you see it for yourself.

So dull I actually struggled against nodding off. In fact I did, so ended up missing the last 10 minutes... oh well. I guess i missed the bit where yaddah yaddah blah blah... who cares! Buy this if you like dragons, and are 12 years old... and have enough pocket money. It gets the extra star because it did cure my insomnia.
Could have been worse.

Okay, not the most impressive movie I've ever seen but far from being the worst. The storyline is pretty shallow, which given it is taken from a Myth is to be expected.
The actors try their best but their characters never really gain any depth, with the result that you really don't care what happens to them. This is more or less due to a poor script which lacks any real cohesion or continuity. The dialogue is stilted and in many cases used to sew up huge holes in the storyline.
Having said all that provided you are willing to suspend belief the CGI effects are fairly impressive, even if certain sections are reminiscent of other movies. Who can resist a serpent tearing up a major city then slithering up a tall building to be shot at by helicopters?
Treat this as mindless visual entertainment, by removing your brain and capacity for logic first, and you will most likely enjoy it, otherwise prepare to be disappointed.
